The Scottish football season maxbet may only have finished a few weeks ago, but already Aberdeen will be focusing on next season’s Europa League.
Boss Derek McInnes guided the Reds to a fourth successive second place finish this season, meaning qualification for the Europa League for the fifth year in a row.
Next season the Dons will enter the competition at the second qualifying round with the tie to be played on July 26 and August 2.
Aberdeen will find out their opponents on June 20 when the draw is made at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon in Switzerland, but there are plenty of difficult opponents lying in wait.
Spanish outfit Sevilla, five-times winners of the competition, are in the second qualifying maxbet round along with German side RB Leipzig.
An all-British clash could also be on the cards with Burnley, who finished seventh in this season’s English Premier League, in the second round draw.
Other possible opponents include Turkish side Besiktas, AZ Alkmaar and Vitesse Arnhem from the Netherlands, Atalanta of Italy, French side Bordeaux,
Portugese team Rio Ave, Racing Genk from Belgium and Sparta Prague of the Czech Republic are some of the other teams in the second qualifying round.
While Aberdeen’s conquerors in the third qualifying round last year, Cypriots Apollon Limassol, could be a possible opponent if they make it through the first qualifying round.
In 2016 the Dons were beaten in the third qualifying round by Maribor and a rematch could be on the cards if the Slovenians reach the second round.
Other possible opponents who will be trying to come through the first round include FC Copenhagen of Denmark, Molde from Norway, Partizan Belgrade of Serbia, Polish team Lech Poznan and Dundalk from the Republic of Ireland. maxbet
